Since releasing last year, Contraband police have garnered a steady fan base with it’s first-person open world game revolving around a border inspector in an 1980’s communist region. Developed by Crazy Rocks and Published by Playway S.A., the tense atmosphere of patrolling the european border along with its servicable gameplay pays homage to the search-and-interrogate scenario games that have been popping up in recent memory. Now, Crazy Rocks had just released a statement regarding their first year anniversary update for Contraband Police.

The following update for Contraband Police will be released on March 21, 2024 marking the first year anniversary of the game. As the positive reviews for Contraband Police quickly trickle in, the developers have decided to create additional content complete for free! In celebration to their first year anniversary, Contraband Police will make significant changes and improvements to the game.
Coming Updates for Contraband Police
- New ability for the player to hire other policemen to help during shooting engagements with enemies.
- Smugglers will now attempt to flee on foot in case their vehicle is apprehended.
- NPC response to dangerous conditions will also be altered to fit the scenario.
- Enemies trying to ambush the players will continue to engage until killed or apprehended.
- New animations and voices are added in the combat system.
- The Sina vehicle, a different kind of transportation to carry people and other goods, will be added to Contraband Police.
- Sniper Rifle with additional scope will be introduced to the game for a more enjoyable playthrough.
