Heroes of Bermesiah gather up because GrandChase Classic just dropped a massive update. With the launch of Kallia, a brand new Chaser Pass, and tons of events, we are excited to dive deep into this update.
New Character ‘Kallia’
GrandChase has witnessed the arrival of a brand new character named Kallia. Wielding a weapon called Heat Smasher, she belongs to the job classes Inquisitor and Trouble Shooter. Here’s a brief glimpse of her special abilities:
Overheat System
A new gauge is added by the Overheat System, and it gets bigger as you hit the opponent. The degree of heat is indicated by a higher gauge.
The attack boost buff is better the higher the Overheat level. The overheat buff will be sustained for the duration of the stages and will gradually wear off if Kallia avoids direct combat.
Overheat Explosion
When Kallia’s Overheat level hits its maximum, she will go into “Overheat Explosion” mode, using all of the collected Overheat Gauge to temporarily boost her attack power.
The player should utilize the Overheat Gauge to quickly unleash massive damage bursts because it resets after use.
Booster
The command “Booster” uses Overheat Gauge to propel an object forward swiftly. To move around more easily when in a combo or while in midair, the player can press X. When Kallia is using the booster, she won’t have a hitbox. This will let Kallia get through the enemies and go swiftly behind them.

New Chaser Pass
The new Chaser Pass has already started and will continue till April 3rd. Players can enter Chaser Pass by locating it at the bottom right corner of the main lobby. Players can choose between a free Chaser Pass or a premium one. In this update, GrandChase Classic players can make use of both Free and Premium Chaser Passes:
Free Chaser Pass
All GrandChase Classic players are eligible for the free Chaser Pass. In order to raise your pass level, players will have to complete daily and weekly missions. Players can also make use of Pass Level 1 Increase Tickets to get additional Pass EXP.
Let’s check out the rewards of the Free Chaser Pass:
- Exclusive Reward: Players can receive [Voidal Chaser] Monster Card. [Voidal Chaser] Monster Card: 772 Special Attack / 0.87% Taint Resistance
- Exclusive Reward and Chaser Pass Card Select Box, Special Reinforcement Release Scroll, Reinforcement Protection Scroll (+16), and other various rewards.
- [Chaser Pass Card Select Box] will be added. Players can select 1 Solar Chaser or Lunar Chaser Monster Card.
- [Solar Chaser] Monster Card: 760 Special Attack / 0.40% Taint Resistance
- [Lunar Chaser] Monster Card: 475 Attack / 0.40% Taint Resistance
Premium Chaser Pass
If you want to splash the cash, then you can get your hands on the Premium Chaser Pass for 20,000 VP. Doing so will make you eligible for additional rewards on top of the free rewards from the Free Chaser Pass. For the Premium Chaser Pass, you can clear daily, weekly, and seasonal missions to raise your exp and increase pass levels. And of course, you always have the Pass Level 1 Increase Tickets if you need additional Pass EXP.
Here are the rewards:
- Exclusive Reward: Players can receive [Voidal Challenger] Monster Card. [Voidal Challenger] Monster Card: 31.50% Critical Damage / 0.43% Taint Resistance
- Exclusive Reward: [Infernal Wings Select Box] will be added. Players can use [Infernal Wings Select Box] to acquire Epic Grade Season 7 Upper Armor Ornament Coordi [Infernal Wings] of their choice.
- Players can acquire [Raid Dungeon Entry Ticket], [Single Stat Change Support Box], and [Berkas’ Property Select Scroll] as exclusive rewards.
- Players can acquire Another TYPE1 Coordi Outfit Select Box, Another TYPE1 Coordi Weapon Select Box, Single Property Scroll (Lv.85), Chaser Pass: Growing Hero’s Title Box, and other various rewards.
Beyond Level 50, Chaser Pass prizes by level for both Free and Premium Pass will be available. By level, players will earn a [Chaser Pass Repeat Reward Box], from which they will be able to select rewards at varying rates from the list. Only Pass Level 1 Increase Tickets below Level 50 are available for purchase and use by players.
Events
GrandChase Classic has plenty of events in store for you in this update:
Kallia Battle Power Event
The Kallia Battle Power Event will end on March 13th. Players have to participate in this event by playing Kallia. By doing so and reaching certain levels of Battle Power, you’re eligible for the following rewards:
- Single Stat Change Scroll
- Single Stat Drop Protection Scroll
- Reinforcement Protection Scroll (+17)
- Single Property Scroll (Lv.85)
- Another World Monster Card Box
- Star Chaser Monster Card, and more!
There will also be a merch event in celebration of Kallia’s launch which will end on the same date. Each player who reaches 100,000 Battle Power in the Kallia Battle Power Event will receive a lottery ticket. According to the outcome of the lottery, players will receive merch goods.
Growing Hero’s Event
The Growing Hero Event will end on February 21st. In this event, players can earn rewards by logging in for 30 minutes for 15 days straight.
Be sure to complete the Growing Hero’s weekly missions:
(1) Week 1 (January 31st After Maintenance – February 6th 23:59 (UTC+0))
- Defeat 100 Monsters at Appropriate Level Range: Dimensional Chaser Event Dungeon Entry Ticket x10
- Defeat 300 Monsters at Appropriate Level Range: +30 Bag x1
- Defeat 500 Monsters at Appropriate Level Range: GP Item Property Scroll x1
(2) Week 2 (February 7th 00:00 – February 13th 23:59 (UTC+0))
- Defeat 100 Monsters at Appropriate Level Range: Dimensional Chaser Event Dungeon Entry Ticket x10
- Defeat 300 Monsters at Appropriate Level Range: 1,000,000 GP Coupon x1
- Defeat 500 Monsters at Appropriate Level Range: GP Item Property Scroll x1
(3) Week 3 (February 14th 00:00 – February 20th 23:59 (UTC+0))
- Defeat 100 Monsters at Appropriate Level Range: Dimensional Chaser Event Dungeon Entry Ticket x10
- Defeat 300 Monsters at Appropriate Level Range: Premium GC Club (3 Days)
- Defeat 500 Monsters at Appropriate Level Range: GP Item Property Scroll x1
New Year’s Day Event
There will be a series of mini-events under the New Year’s Day Event:
- Accumulated Login Event: Login for a predetermined amount of minutes to earn rewards
- Buff Event: Players will receive EXP +50% in Dungeons and GP +50% from All Modes during the event period
- New Year’s Greeting Event: New Year’s Greeting will give a 1 time buff for a dungeon play. New Year’s Greeting Buff: Attack +5% / Defense +5% / Vitality +5%
There are tons of new items in the shop as well including Moonlight Village Coordi Item and plenty of Dimensional Packages.
